May be i am wrong but to my understanding from the TEVTA advertisement, and i quote

Technical Education and Vocational Training Authority (TEVTA) is a
Special Institution under Govt. of Punjab. In order to expand
its workforce, TEVTA is hiring dedicated, competent and dynamic
professionals domiciled in respective districts of Punjab to fill faculty
positions in its institutes all over the province.

"Bonafide Residents of the Division will be considered for the recruitment. Married female candidates will also use domicile of their husbands. "

Agar sirf post ke district aur division walo ko consider krna to why take tests of candidates having domiciles of other than post districts in the first place? That is if TEVTA is for real going to recruit only post district candidates. Phr they should had mentioned it on the ad.

My district has no seat but I have given test on the hope that may be in future some seats fall vacant.
Furthermore, there is another possibility that they deliberately hid the seats in LHR.

One more thing is important that there is conflict between the advertisement and policy:
Advertisement is asking for respective district domiciles whereas policy is asking for Division.

Exactly bro. Hai na? Policy jo apne abhi mention ki usme clearly define kia hoa ke only respective divisions ke candidates are only eligible for seats located in the respective districts.Par Add me aisa kuch nai, in fact ad me bas likha ke respective domicile holders of districts of Punjab are applicable or specifically dosre adverstisments ki trha ye nai mention kia hoa ke only domicile holders of the post district are eligible. Or do teen bando se bhi baat hoi wo bhi kehte any person from any district can apply for a post at any place in Punjab.

Par ye hai ke the organization should clear out this confusion. One other thing is that chalo abhi interviews ke lie calls ani hai waise bhi, udher andaza hojaega ke kia criteria rkha short list ka... Agar asal me only district walo ko consider karae then nai bulaege, aur agar aisa scne too lazmi interview ke lie bulaegi since ALLAH ka shukur number thek thak hai test hai.

why you guys are making it so .........you all know that for seat above bps-16 you just need to have a domicile of punjab,for lower seats you will be consider only if you belong to specific districts or division.

Bro, usually I have seen 17-grade jobs not based on district or division but province based.
Furthermore, when we applied there was a clear field asking for district applied for and I also have that form (FormB).

Yar I guess 786ze is right. Usually 16 grade and above jobs are province based, not district based. So i guess, this one would also follow the same trend. Keep your fingers crossed and just pray to ALLAH. If ALLAH has selected this job for you, then definitely you will be selected. So why worry so much in the first place? Just prepare for the interview in the mean time. What say you?
