Bro what is the respective weightage for selection? Like what is the respective weightage of interview and test? Which contributes more towards selection?

Thanks mate. I am good in this business(I think) of keeping cool and confident. I can handle personal questions, psychological, current happenings, opinion et cetera. But I am preparing for CSS since months so quiet away from my field(Civil Engg). And I think a bigger part of interview consists of field related questions. So can you please guide what to prepare and expect?? And are you from Civil or else? If yes then please share your interview experience and guidance to prepare if possible. Grateful for your earlier advice.

They will ask questions after going through your cv. Like if u work as a structural engineer questions will be regarding design, moment, shear. Similar would be for project management, site engineer. But the questions will going to be very basic. So dont worry, u will do good there.

Brother I haven't worked anywhere. I am fresh, no experience.
And please advise me as I am thinking to leave it here. I am already serving in B-17 and the job suits my study schedule. I am preparing for CSS 2017 and having PCS exams in March 2016. Besides that I am from Quetta. The working hours in PSO are strict and there are also slim chances of being posted in my Province.. So I am confused about it... what to do??? Wouldn't this job make it harder for me to get allocated through CSS or PCS?
I repeat, I have a job in B-17. Looking forward to your response!! Or any body who thinks can suggest me for better course!!

If you are content with your current job, then you need not join PSO. But, if you're interested to work in your field--Civil Engineering, and interested in earning a handsome salary then PSO would be far better a choice for you.
