Baqir hussain said that the scholarship is not for Mphil only, Phd is must, but I want to do only Mphil. I want to do phd from abroad? Sirf M.Phil kr skta hu me ya nhe???

These scholarships are basically for Doctorate Studies. Anyone having 16 years of education could also apply for these scholarships i.e MS/M.Phil leading to PhD.
I think one can't avail these scholarships just for MS/M.Phil.

no you can't do it as per rule you have to complete your p.hd.

In HEC scholarships any one who will get scholarship has to sign a bond that if he/she leaves studies before completion he/she has to pay the expense till that day and after completing p.hd he/she has to serve in for HEC in their desired organization for time equal to the scholarship that is 5 years. they do demand security just in case anyone defaults.....

There are two answers to your query.

1. Go by the book. As per the rules of HEC, you cannot leave your studies after MPhil. You will have to do PhD too. If, as per rules, you leave your studies before completion of PhD you will have to deposit the expenses to HEC.

2. On the very contrary, you may just avail the opportunity without thinking about what would happen tomorrow. I had talked about this with a indigenous scholar and he said one may leave after MPhil, without depositing the expenses provided that you serve for 5 years in Pakistan. Simple! However, the risk factor is higher here.

The decision is yours to make.

aoa...i today got selection from Hec for this schlarship..i am in categorg B..now the last date for submission of a bulk of documents is 26th november which is coming monday...3 days are already off because of muharram...i have done MS and i havent secured admission in phd yet...they say that people enrolled in MS/Mphil/PHD must submit all docs by 26th nov and those who havent secured admission in Phd must submit all docs by 26th nov except admission letter whose last date is 30th march 2013...now the issue is that firstly they need bachlors and onwwards degrees attested by hec which needs a i think minimum 7 days...plus letter from an hec approved supervisor..how can a person get a supervisor approval in 2 days when i am not even enrolled..plus another requirement is deed of agreement/secuty bond signed by two witnesse and authorised from notary republic....how can i produce all that in 2 days..is there any chance of hec extending last date of submission??? i dont think i can doo it otherwise...can anyon eplee guide me in this matter??/

Same is the case with me.
I have completed 16 years of education and not enrolled further yet.
HEC attestation is the main problem. it takes 7 working days and we dont have any.

I think we should talk to them, mail them to extend the date or collect the copy attested by gazette officer.

And do we have to submit the supervisor letter.

I tried to call hec but no one was picking up phone..i have sent an email to the concerned pwrson also but havent got any reply yet..i think they will extend date because even if they accept gazzete officer attesttation even then this time id not enough for getting letter from the supervisor..

Yes I think supervisor letter is required and no I donot have any list..
