I started study after 10 years of Break after engineering when took admission in MBA-Project Management from University of Engineering and Technology in 2010. I completed the course early 2013, and now when I look back It feels a thing of yesterday, all pain that I suffered due to shift in comfort zone has gone.
I am going for PhD, and after 3 Years Inshallah I will look back on this moment and feel proud that I took this plunge that gave me a doctorate degree.........
Those who will lose this chance will repent after two years.
And trust me I know at least two PhDs from China One who was a female teaching in a university of Lahore on 150,000 and one male teaching in UET @ 120,000.
Think it once again, time and tide, wait for none.

Yesterday I went to meet my College Professor. She has returned from China after 6 years. She has been teaching at Peking University. According to her quality of education is not good in China especially the English taught courses as they face dearth of good English teachers. She has advised me not to leave my Govt. job as I have been selected as Deputy Accountant in Punjab Finance Department. Although its grade 14 job but she says its far better than scholarship. According to her if one has no other option in Pakistan then one should go. And public sector job should never be sacrificed for this or any other scholarship as there is abundant unemployment and even after getting foreign degree people can not get a good public sector job.
I have left my job. I was working in an O&G Development Company. I have no regrets. I think that if you are competent, you have many opportunities of jobs, even in these difficult times of joblessness. By the way, cannot you take study leave?

At the end of the day its all about priorities. I can avail study leave after two years of service. What I think is that I can go to study after 5 or 6 years. There is no age limit for education but it indeed is for a public sector job. After 3 years I will be grade 17 officer and then can go happily at study leave to do Phd. But if I leave this job after coming back I would left only with jobs of lecturer etc. I don't want to narrow my chances. Above all I have chances for CSS and PMS as well. In Sha Allah. agar kuchh na bhe howa tou 29 ki ho key scholarship ly lu ge .

Dear if I were at your place I would have never thought of leaving the NAB job. Being a NAB officer you will get many chances of getting courses abroad or even if you don't get. You will be able to avail study leave after 3 to 4 years with peace of mind and money in hand.

@ Miss Ali

I agree with Sabahat, you should reconsider your decision because I know how difficult it is to get job in any govt. organization and specially in the organization like NAB.. I have also applied in NAB for AD and JIO and cleared all the stages but could not make to the final merit list you should be thankful to Allah that you got this opportunity after waiting for around 8-9 months and competing with almost more than 70,000 candidates...
Further you got the admission in ZUEL which is third tier Chinese university..my suggestion is first try to get permanent in NAB, take the study leave and than go to China in following years and believe me you can easily get the admission in any better university than ZUEL by applying directly with same stipend and scholarship features...no need to apply through and signing bond with IPC...
Rethink and make the final decision...all the best
