Default NOC is necessary.
We need it to register at university, they said.
We need it to get any subsidy for which they have sent proposal to Finance, if approved we will be lucky ones.

Anyone from Lahore kindly help me with the issue about the police clearance certificate... what is the complete process and how many days would it take?..

Go to the SSP office Kahchari alongwith photographs, CNIC & Passport (with photocopies).. You will fill two forms (one in english & other in urdu) over there .. Your details will be sent to your local police station where you reside ... and police staff varify that are free from any charge.. after 4 to 5 you will get clearance certificate from SSP office ... After that you will be required to get it attested from MOFA located in shadman near mental hospital..

I have been selected in cultural xchange scholarship for PhD in China and I have to join my University by 30th august 2013 whereas I have also been shortlisted for interview in 90% scholarship the country is same China but the perks are much higher in 90% scholarship lil bit confused whether to leave the cultural xchange and wait for the finalization of 90% or I should go for the Cultural xchange????? Ur suggestions needed......

what reason did u give to university while requesting for extension and what was your initial reporting date?
i also want to apply for one month extension

No, this is Bilateral Cultural Exchange Scholarship in which fully-funded scholarships are offered by different countries like China, Russia, Italy, South-Korea, Czech Republic, Romania etc.
USA offers Fulbright Scholarship.

My university (CUEB) in its admission offer letter has asked me to get registered between 2 - 4 September. I requested them for 20 days extension but they did not allow any extension. Strict policy!

I have also got admission in Dongbei University of Finance & Economics in PhD Finance.
