Unfortunately, this is not true. If you kindly go through the thread of last year's overseas scholarship on this forum, you'll see that time is a luxury that the shortlisted candidates don't have. We were like and when they told us to secure admission in Turkey in just 7 days, whereas we had diverted all our efforts to France and had with us hard-earned acceptance letters. I would advice all those people, who are seriously interested and are hopeful of getting this scholarhsip, to timely appear in IELTS and GRE (if possible). This would be very helpful for you. Mark my words.

Yes that is true. I didn't apply previous year but I have read the last year thread and my impression was same as yours. And after getting shortlisted, we need to secure admission (as in Massey university and in France as well)

dear Hazard88 Which country/University you have prefered? what is your field of study?
I am sure that i will be shortlisted.......So i am preparing for IELTS

i can understant the problems after shortlisting......Because no one sure about shortlisting.....good luck to all

France, Massey, Sbancci. I applied under Business Administration. Whats your field and country prefference and how much marks you have secured in GAT.

my GAT score 76, Punjab, Business Studies.preference Massey University.it will be difficult for you to get acceptance letter from France for Business Administration.Last year i had bad experience of Germany.me and 12 other people from Business education were shortlisted for Germany no supervisor was available in Germany for Business......so no one from this field got final selection.when HEC announced Batch 5 i have contacted professor in France for Acceptance and found the same problem like Germany..So i have selected Massey University.anywayz good luck

Yeah you are right about Germany. From all previous batches, no one went to Germany under Business Administration but intake of France in this field is highest and is seconded by Massey. Hope for the best anyways. BTW i got 81 marks.

Since you was shortlisted last year, can you tell me roughly how many people were shortlisted and how many went for PhD under Business Admin?

No idea about the people finally selected, only HEC knows.Yea, i heard about France that many business people went there.But when i tried for acceptance letter no one has given me and not even given positive response, Moreover in many french universities medium of instruction is still french.that's y i preferred Massey
