The thing which is consistently bothering me is 'how should I write the personal statement? '. In this regard i want some help, I went through some Google to find out some sample personal statements. I found some from Romania and Taiwan, but still I am having swirls.
Can any one here post a sample statement ?
and Can any tell me, can I go through GRE during my BE ?

Thanks in advance
here are some samples or fulbright scholarship personal statements which might be helping

For those of you who do not know, the Fulbright program is fully funded by the US government. it is awarded to deserving Pakistani applicants for pursuing a Masters or a PhD. program in the U.S. The monetary benefit of this scholarship is huge. It covers everything from tuition fees to insurance to books as well as paying a monthly stipend that ranges from $1000 to 2500. You are also given an air ticket for travel to the U.S.

In order to apply for the Fulbright program, you must ensure that your complete application along with the required documents reaches the USEFP by May 15, 2013. Approximately 200 students will be selected for this scholarship.

Since the start of this program several years ago, over 4,000 Pakistanis have gone to the U.S. for their higher studies.

Minorities, women, students from FATA and Balochistan are highly encouraged to apply. Energy, public policy, and water are preferable fields. All disciplines are allowed to apply except for Clinical medicine.

Here are a few basic things that you must fulfill in order to be eligible for this scholarship:
  1. Complete Fulbright application form
  2. 3 Letters of recommendation
  3. Statement of purpose also known as personal statement.
  4. GRE scores

Do remember that Fulbright has the world's largest scholarship program for Pakistani students, so you have a strong chance of getting through :-)
If you have any further questions, do let me know!

Good Luck!
can you please explain point 2 and 3??

Letters of recommendation :
You have to provide them 3 letters written by your professors or other persons which professionally know you.

Purpose of Statement:
This statement has to be written by you. You have to explain your purpose to go and study/research in the US. The personal Statement, or statement of purpose, is considered as one of the most important factor in your application.

Sorry for replying you late.
GRE general is almost like university entrance tests.
I do not have the knowledge regarding venues. And, for preparation you can get many books online in pdf format. Dont go for a single book, you should go for atleast 2 books.
ETS official preparation book is good, and for mock tests download Powerprep software by ETS.

You are ineligible if either of your parents, your spouse or your fiance holds American nationality.
