Hongkong, hatesoff you have to provide GMAT Score.
mine are Turkey and Thailand. Belgium uni is not offering PhD in Business admin fields thats why I didnot opt Belgium otherwise I was interested in Belgium. Hongkong is also good choice but because of GMAT requirement I escaped it too. so options letf for me are Turkey and Thailand
next steps is to get admission in your given countries, if admissions are open, otherwise wait for HEC`s reply or contact HEC and inform it about admissions are closed. whats you field of interest?

I applied for it on 21st August in Islamabad embassy.I don't know why is it taking so long in your case as senior says it take 4~8 days.I think Hec has also sent our names to embassy.So be patient you will get your visa soon.

Yeah I got hec's reply today too because i have picking the poor guy's brain wih a lot of questions.. and he kind of seemed agitated now. :p
Anyways my field of interest is Management information systems. But i am still looking into some other ones.
I wanted to chose belgium for several reasons e.g its in middle of europe and there is more exposure etc. But the uni Hasstl has only one or two programs worthwhile. Master of amanagement I guess. What do you think?

hopefully they do but joining date for univ is 28 now i dont know if it will give enough time to join their.

what repli you got from HEC? what question have you asked?
Hasselt only offers MS in Management, no Phd program is offered in Management thats why I didnot choose Belgium.
I dont know about the field change. you can ask HEC, if they allow you plz share with me.

Hey I asked them if it was allowed to choose any country other than those he offered or if i can change my specialization from social sciences to physical sciences or engineering. He told me i can apply to other disciplines in the same unis but not in engineering because I dont have a PEC number. Fair enough I guess.

Also he said we need to stay in touch with the unis we have chosen and apply as soon as admissions open.

I really want to choose belgium instead of turkey. I dont know why did they offer us if the uni doesnt have a phd program.

By the way do you know how long does this study period take? 2 years or 3 years?
