i also got email from HEC ..initial shortlisting..... field electrical engineering

2 of my friends are also shortlisted for HKUST (Phd Electrical) from KPK,,so HEC has made merit list for all provinces ..and i dont think its quota based ,,,

please tell your cgpa and GAT score? my friend got shortlisted on 67 score and 3.2 cgpa. I have got 61 in GAT and 3.21 cgpa.

Hello friends,

I have recieved email from HEC; they are asking for my country preference.

Another email has been recieved from someone in KOC University, Istanbul. They are asking me that I have been shotlisted by HEC and they will help about the admission process.

What should I do now?

exactly same with me, today my friend and I also received email from KOC university, same story as yours,

I don't know why the emailed us, any idea? Why HEC shared our details with them? when we haven't even given preferences yet?

I received the same email from hec and koc university. However I did my BE in Electronics engineering last year and am looking to apply for MS leading to PhD. What is the procedure for applying for that? Do we have to enroll ourselves in skinned program or apply for Ms first and then apply for PhD later after completion of MS? Really confused at this point and would be extremely grateful for any help

My GAT score is 87, cgpa 3.1 and from Islamabad.

Salaam
I applied in 90% as well as HRDI-UESTP.

Today HEC sent me email regarding being shorlisted in HRDI and
asked to give them preference. I gave them USA and Germany.

A few hours later I received email from Koc Uni Turkey and
asking me to get admitted as my name is given to them by HEC.

M confused...
1. I have TOEFL score but no GRE.
2. Is it shortlisting of HRDI-UESTP or 90%?? because in 90% I prioritized Turkey.
