Does anyone know which documents candidates with 16 years of education need to submit along with the application? I know that we have to provide the copies of degrees etc but not sure about the Statement of purpose of interest in higher studies (one page) and the research interests? HELP!

Once you submit your application you ll see it, the list of these required documents appears on top of your printed application. I also have 16 years of education and it asked for both statement of interest and research plan.

i want to ask few queries, it will be obliged if u can share your thoughts

I appeared in GAT couple of years ago & my test result in valid up to 9th April 13 (going to expire soon). I want to ask is it ok as it will be valid before the last date of application i.e 31 st Mar 2013 or should i reappear in test going to be conducted in April 2013. Please advise

Secondly Let me know about the Accumulative score required to compete in scholarship. I scored low in my GAT test & now a days the average score is on higher side i.e 70+. so any chances of selection with low gat score although i do have 1st div throughout academic career.

What about working experience. Does HEC also considers the working experience of the candidates as well or not?

Your GAT is valid do not worry..........
higher GAT will be a plus point....
Many of the applicant has 1st divisions so it depends on the overall merit where it stands and which criteria HEC will adopt....As we do not know the criteria how much weightage they will give to GAT and how much to academic.......
but i think they will give high weight-age to GAT score.

I secured 71 marks in GAT general, category Business Education. good CGPA in MS but remaining qualification is just 1st class. what are my chances. Any idea about merit formula and will this also be done on provincial quota.

Ok I finally submitted my application and now I am confused ...

Docs required:
2. "Attested photocopies of all educational testimonals (matric/inter from IBCC, graduation onwards)" ..

I did my matric & FSc from FBISE, now does this mean I have to get my docs attested from FBISE and IBCC or can I get them attested from any govt employee???

4. "Research Proposal"

Is this mandatory for all???

10."Short report on the scientific interests of the candidate and his/her motivations for applying on separate sheet"

Is this the same as "Personal Statement"?


And the Undertaking ... Should I just sign it or does it have to be copied onto a stamp paper and then signed with all the formalities?

dont know what their criteria will be and do not know about the Quota......

IBCC verification is not compulsory.......Just send the attested copies.
Research proposal is compulsory for people who have 18 year of education and applying for PhD....
Personal statement is mandatory........
No stamp papers is required........Just signed on the given application form.

hello, I've tried submitting the online application through link given on the first page but I had to quit due to load shedding. Now when I re login there is no text and I have submitted it as such. It prints out someone else's form. There is also no option to edit it. What ver of Internet explorer is required? I'm using the latest one. Can any one guide?
