I am a student of kinnaird college. I have done bsc (hnrs) in economics from Kinnaird college. I am currently enrolled in MPHIL buisness administration in Kinnaird just got my name in merit list. Am i eligible to apply for this scholarship? or do one have to get admission in mphil leading to phd course? Because there is no phd in Kinnaird its only a Mphil programme.

Secondly if I am eligible what documents should i send by 30th august?

Thirdly please can someone guide me about what the categories are ? because while filling form i didnt see any kind of category option. But here everyone is talking about some category A or B.. where I had to choose in between?

Lastly how much GAT score i need minimum? I am to appear in test on 18th august.

if you can manage to get 75+ in GAT .. then you should be hopeful about this scholarship..
secondly, all other information about categories or whatever, you can get it from HEC website. just fill out the online form, and you will know the required documents in an email they'll send to you after completion of form.. its not that much big issue

does hec give indigenous scholarship for lums? for phd management?

can anyone tell me plz only Gat marks are counted more for getting this scholarship or previous degree marks are also counted?

i am doing M.Phil from Lahore Leads University .
My programme is weekend programme and i am doing my job as EST in Punjab education Department sine july 2009 and have completed fours of job ,, but my department allow me leave after completin five years of job.
My University fee is just 25000 per semester after concession ,/
What should i do now? apply pr not?
is that scholarship announce HEC every year?

As far as i know.. theses scholarships are announced every year in the month of July, now you have to wait for the next year to apply for... and brother i have heard it takes about 5 to 6 months in processing after you are done with the test they take... if you are willing to get this scholarship then start preparing for GAT because you need to score more than 70 in GAT to be on the safe side... and brother after you completes your Phd through this scholarship then you will be appointed as an Assistant Professor in a Public University.. i think its better for a person looking for higher studies to be an Assistant Prof. at some Public University in the end....
