My purpose to share this news is to rectify my decision if I am going in wrong direction by skipping this scholarship in the ligh of suggestions of respected members of this forum.
Secondly at least waiting list candidates are advised to be optimistic and hope for the best for this scholarship as many students likewise me are not going for this scholarship.
Now a bit advice for you to be mature mentally.

This is a good and mature way to be at forum.
I am fed up with 16 years continuous study. Now I want to apply it practically what I got from my education.
Secondly I don't want to be further dependant on my family. I want to share some financial burden of my family.
These are the reasons and now suggest me some way if I am wrong.
Why do you think that you will share the burden of your family only by not availing this scholarship. After a deep research regarding this scholarship (as I was confused too) I finally came to the conclusion that we should consider it a good opportunity as its an honor by itself to being an HEC scholar. Further one can share burden by having some private jobs along with this ms leading to phd.

Good idea if one doesnot want to join Govt. job in next 2 or 5 years and wants to study further.

Thanks for your concern and well wishes. I shall now check available possibilities to cash this opportunity. Although my situation is a bit complicated but let's see may be God bless me with some right direction.
Nice to hear you that you finally decided to persue it. Stay blessed and happy.
Regards

Default Funds

On the other day I visited HEC office (indigenous scholarship section) and asked the smart man there about the expected date of funds transfer and he told me that they are verifying documents and will be transferring funds to university in September. Then they'll inform finally selected candidates through courier and email.

your Gat Score is missing.
50 percent of your academics equals to 36
Now you can add the weight-age of 50 percent of your Gat score.

so all i need to do is pass the gat test and ill be eligible to apply right?
gat passing score is 50% means 25 out of 50% and and 36 +25 gives 61? am i calculating it right?
secondly i need to know for local PHD,the criteria is 3cgpa,but mine is 2.96 because i did MBA from iqra university and they have this weird cgpa criteria,60% were passing marks which makes 2.5cgpa,and though my marks are about 75%,my cgpa is 2.96.can i apply for phd in local universities?
is there any document for cgpa equivalence?

HEC takes around six months for documents verification and grant issuance normally , this period will certainly extend in case of government change or unstable circumstances.
