Yes it is necessary. You should get it attested now because you are required to send attested copies to IPC.

Thumbs up Masters or phD? A suggestion:
Those candidates who have their Masters degree in Economics should definitely go for phD, but for others with other qualifications (such as MBA) should apply for Masters program.
Having an MBA degree, I applied for Masters in Economics (2 years - in English) and currently enrolled at CUEB, Beijing and I'm quite satisfied with my decision. Because, for me, having a phD after MBA is not an achievement. All the best!
P.S. Chinese language is not that difficult if you take interest in it. I'm studying Chinese language along with other courses of Economics.

if your education is 18 years you are eligible for Phd and also the scholarship amount for Phd is more than Masters hence my suggestions will be to go for Phd not Masters if you hold pre-qualifications for it. Chinese Language is not difficult if you are studying in English if you are going for Chinese It will make you suffer a lot, it is my own experience.

What was the last date for applying???? I did MSC hons in economics and now want PhD in this subject....kindly help me is there any scholarship now....or I'm late in it...????????? :-(

No , you cannot apply now because it was announced last year and last date for apply was 28/10/2013. But you can apply for 2015 programs which is expected in the month of November or early of this year.

Exclamation phd Finance Vs PhD Financial management
I want to make clear one important thing that in China Financial Management is under the School of accounting NOT under the school of Finance. Financial management is more tilt to Financial Accounting and Reporting in China.
PhD finance or PhD risk management and financial engineering are under the school of Finance in universities of China.

Does it affect one's profile? for example I have done MBA from QAU Islamabad and applied directly for Phd in China and I have been shortlisted by one university i.e. UIBE Beijing and chances are high that I will get the scholarship for Phd. What do you recommend?
