Default Cgsp 2014
Asalam Alaikum

My major is International Relations and I want to apply for Masters program at Shandong University, China.

I am confused about the Chinese Government Scholarship Program and I have following questions?

1. How to apply? i.e only online and take print out or apply directly to the university and they will automatically grant me CGSP and ask me to send further documents?

2. After applying how many copies and original documents i need to send.

3. To whom i should send my documents? To Chinese Embassy in Islamabad or to Consulate? or to the university?

4. On which address I should documents?

5. What is the last date to apply for CGSP 2014?

I will really appreciate if anyone who is currently is in China or availing scholarship reply me.

Hi,

There are three main scholarship categories:
1- Chinese Govt Scholarship
2- Chinese Local Govt Scholarship
3- University Scholarships

You can can find details of each on the CSC website and university website as well.

If you go to any university website and read the instructions for applying, you will find answers to all your questions.

For applying to the Chinese Govt Scholarship you need to register with the CSC website. After creating your application take its print. Bundle the CSC application with copies of your documents and send to the university by courier.

By the way there is another thread going on related to CSC 2013. I found it very helpful and so will you.

CSC dates might be over for 2014 but still do check the university websites to be sure. Regardless there are plenty of Local Government Scholarships and University Scholarships to which you can still apply.
