Sorry it is kind of unrelated but I've found this thread to be helpful, so posting here. I have an upcoming test in the National Assembly. The call letter for the test states that among other things, there will be questions about parliament/government business. Could someone guide me how I can prepare for this? Thank you

Study the structure of the Parliament (National Assembly and Senate). E.g. total nmbr of seats in each house and their distribution among provinces. Powers n functions of the Speaker, deputy Speaker, and chairman Senate. Eligibility criterion for becoming MNA/Senator. Of particular importance will be understanding the way new laws are made by the Parliament. Lastly, study the powers n functions of both houses.

This just an overview, so I may have missed a couple of areas. Others may comment. Good luck 😊😊😊

Continuing from kezar’s answer, go through the following
1. The committee systems in NA/senate
2. Composition of both houses and changes after every amendments
3. Rules of business pertaining to NA/Senate
4. List of chairman/ speakers
5. List of deputy chairman/ deputy speakers
6. Some basic info about the assemblies of other democracies
7. Kind of bills etc
