Congratulations to all those who've passed the first step, and my prayers with you all to successfully pass the second one too. I also was a candidates and hoped to pass the exam but unfortunately I don't find my name in the list, and therefore have to sit back for another week to see my Detailed Marks. Would the DMCs take a week? And what is the procedure / fee payments and time period for rechecking of papers required if any for KP PSC?

No payment, just write a simple application in the name of chairman kp psc. You will receive the letter within a month at your address.

Is this result list merit wise? And how will interview make a difference for someone who is to like below 500 in merit list or suppose below 1000? How can that person suppose beat a person who is in top 50? Can anyone explain the whole marking process?

PMS / PCS Award
Serving PMS / PCS (BS 17) officers are eligible only, there is no award for written qualifiers..

No its random result but i guess its center wise result because the roll numbers are allotted center wise.
Serial 1 to 132 = one center
133 to 185 = 2nd center
186 to 235= 3rd
236 to 281 = 4th
282 to 413 = 5th
414 to 1008 = 6th (Peshawar center)
1009 to 1093 = 7th
1094 to1159 = 8th
1060 to 1169 =9th center

Interview has 300 marks and written has 1200 marks. so one can lead in interview upto a maximum of 100 marks from the other candidates.
