What are your elective and optional subjects?
Preparing and passing B.A English is not that much tough. I myself have taken B.A composite exam from P.U Lahore; Alhamdulillah, I have done well in all the subjects including English; and keeping my fingers crossed for the result which is probably going to be out in August.
The best way to prepare all the subjects well is to make your own notes, not only for English but for all the subjects and especially for those that you are going to take in English medium. It might look odd to make notes at B.A level, and some students addicted to studying by going through their books only, may find it silly, but believe me it is the most authentic and most ideal method to prepare and perform well in the exam. Once notes are ready, give a thorough study to them; 3 to 5 months of study is dead enough provided that you are serious, because i myself took 2 months for preparation of notes and then 3 to 5 months for final study.

For English, I will suggest to u to have a good command over ur English first; improve Grammar and writing skills. For improving written-expression, write as much as possible. For instance, go through short stories or Essays that you have in your paper B, and then close books and try writing what you have read.
P.S Don't purchase or study books for English having Urdu translation of the material; it will mar ur language.
Regards
