Salam all respected members.My name is rizwan altaf chandio I have given exam of bsc.I am waiting for result my result will be announced in september.plz guide me about css 2012 my optionals are 1sindhi 2sociology 3journalism4IR 5ISLAMIC HISTORY&CULTURE.should I attempt css2012 or I should give in 2013 because I have not started preperation yet ‏ ‏

There are still seven odd months to go, so one can easily prepare for CSS in this time. Go for 2012.

Sindhi, Sociology and Islamic History are ok. Journalism has not been scoring in the recent years and IR too is not much scoring and its course is lengthy. Have a look at International law, Muslim law, US history etc. For books' suggestion go through the following link:

is it a good combination? i dont have any law background.

I am afraid but except sociology all other subjects can not be termed as good subjects. Have a look at following subjects:
Geography
Forestry
US history
International law
Muslim Law
Regional languages
Subject selection is a very important decision and shoul not be taken in haste. Take your time, have look at past papers and syllabus in detail before opting anything. Keep two things in mind while selecting subjects, your background and aptitude towards a particular subject plus scoring trend.

but i hav no law background, im thinking to opt geography n eng literature but STILL have to take one more subject?

International law and Muslim law do not require law background. They can be covered without much difficulty. Moreover being a student of English literature you can do well in US history too. Sociology and regional languages are also good subjects. Finally the choice is yours.

Brother it depends upon you I suggest you to opt any of International law, Muslim law, US history, Sociology and regional languages whichever suits you. Mine optionals are Geography, Business Admin, Mercantile law, Muslim law and Sociology. I have appeared in CE 2011 and will inshAllah appear in the coming exam too.

Start preparation and fill up the form. U may skip the attempt if you are not well prepared. Later on, appear in 2013. If you have age limit problem or have 3 consecutive attempts then u will have to appear in 2012.
Second, it depends on a student's study stamina, and it varies.
