I was listening to a mufti shahb on some FM....He said that"qiyamat ke din tamam insaan un ke baap ke naam se hi pukry jayen gy"...i was really shocked at first coz from childhood we have been listeining that roz-e-hashar tamam log apni maa ke naam se pukarain jaen gy..

the RJ also said that we have read and listened about MAAn only...
upon which he answered that some ppl have not understood the actual word which refers to "imam" but they make it "maaN"...it is something like this ke...tamam log qiyamat ke din apny imam ke saath uthaye jain gy....matlab jo kisi chiz ka initiator ho ga us ke follower usi ke saath uthain gy....agar koi boora hai to woh apny imam,jis ne burai start ki ho gi us ke saath ho ga ya us ke naam se pukara jaiye ga...and vice versa.


i am really confused coz i have asked from some elders they are bent upon MAAN as well.

plz shed some light on it and make it clear.....a special request to all the senior members...Thank you

actually two things have been confused here.

hamain apni mother k naam sa hee pukara jaey ga.(i hope u know why it would be done so)

lakin molvi sahab bhi theek keh rahey they k har qaum apnay imam k name sa bhi pehchani jaey gee aur us hee k peechay khari ho gee.for example hum yani k musalman HAZRAT MUHAMMAD(SAAWW) k peechay kharain hon gey(auqat beshak ho na ho) aur baqi ANBIA(AS) ki ummatain un k ANBIA(AS) k peechay.
ye answer firqa warana masail ko mad e nazar rakhay baghair diya hai.

this is what i know..

but he explicitly stated that hum apny baap ke naam se hi janain jaien gy aur imam se...he denied ke MAAN ke naam se pukary jain gy.

plz explain the reason as well....coz the presenter told him a reason which he said ke aisa nahi hai...and i know a different reason as well...

plz tell which one do u know?

because biologically a child can have more than one father whereas mothers cannot be more than one.is liye maa k nam sa pukara jaey ga.there may be other reasons as well..ap k pas kon sa reason hai?

pata ni phir molvi sahab na parha ho ga kahin phir par ma na to yhee suna hai k maa k namsa pukara jaey ga.

the RJ gave exactly the same reason you gave yet mufti denied..

i also heard that Hazrat isa(jesus)did not have father so to honor his prophet ALLAH has made this arrangement...

i am really confused why molvi sahb said that.

if the reference of authentic hadith of sahih bukhari is considered strong which suggests that we all will be called by our fathers' names then why our masses and mostly muftis refer to the comparatively weak hadith(as mentioned in the link above)which refers to mother?

i will also try to find it out....thank you mjkhan for helping...plz do post your findings here in future as well.

i would specially request last island(our super bajji)to help...

Praise be to Allah

There is a weak Hadith that reads that the Prophet (Sallallahu Alaihi wa Sallam) said: Allah will call the people on the Day of Resurrection with their mothers' names to cover His slaves .

Sheikh al-Albani graded it as fabricated Hadith in his book "Silsilah al-Daeefah".

The truth is that people will be called by their fathers' names on the Day of Resurrection. Imam al-Bukhari entitled a chapter in His Sahih by this: 'calling people by their fathers' names', under this chapter he reported from Ibn Umar that the Prophet (Sallallahu Alaihi wa Sallam) said: For every betrayer, a flag will be raised on the Day of Resurrection, and it will be announced (publicly), this is the betrayer of so and so, the son of so and so .

In short, people will be called by their names and their fathers' names not by their mothers' names.
