Default Why did you leave?
This thread is specifically for all those prestigious senior members who were once very active on forum but they no longer log in and participate. I believe some may visit the forum as silent observers and some are actually too busy in their lives but I know some intentionally don't participate. By their answers we may get an idea how to make this place better again.
Also, active members can share what thing discourage them to participate often? You may also mention some members whose absence is really felt here so they may think to appear again.

I log in, at least once a week, to see what is happening (and find that nothing much is happening!).

I don't participate anymore because I think I don't have anything to add to the members' knowledge. Pattern/syllabus has changed since CE-2015, that makes me and many other old members practically 'obsolete'.

Other than syllabus there are so many other things to be discussed over here.Since you're doctor than can suggest us good tips as well, besides having goood discussion related to contemporary politics.
Yeah, I have serious reservations to ce-15 qualifiers, as they remained indifferent towards the new aspirants and joined the fb group- much like chain of knowledge is being broken.(a vaccum indeed)!

I think that the basics for css preparation are very much the same as they were before CE 2016, specially the compulsory subjects english, precis paper, current affairs remain almost same so the guidance of seniors is vital even now but few seniors get time now which is something the junior members miss

Well.. There is not much going on I guess.. Most of the senior members didn't make it in CE. I personally don't feel welcome here and also quite disappointed with this society and the way things are. But the most important reason could be that interesting threads are not being created and even if they are created, they are hijacked by some extremist/weird folk etc or ignored sometimes. Not many jobs being announced either. Anyway, you have made me realise that I should restart my efforts to help others in any capacity I can. I request other colleagues like Monk and Cogito and many others like them to come back and start contributing, people need you.

Do you think it's natural that members contribute as long as they are aspirant of this exam? And when we are done with all the three chances, then we naturally start loosing interest in contributing to the forum, what do you say? Kingfalcon & Cogito, you guys used to be very active and helping members of this forum, but right after CE-15 you disappeared from the scene. But if you start contributing again, then it would be great for us to learn anything from you guys.
