let justice be done in both cases. exchange is evil in this case it is not the way civilized nations behave especially nation states amidst globalized world. It is law of Jungle and might is right RULE. This is unacceptable. There are thousands Pakistanis living in US then you have to kidnap all the US citizens living here to secure the release of Pakistanis.

Nations states are organizations based on Law and moral considerations. and a state acting contrarily is condemned all over the world by Civilized people. Jeff Knaeble denounced his citizenship and ultimately commited self immolation protesting the atrocities commied by US against the Humanity. He was a US national.

For God sake put your own house in order. I am lawyer by profession and I know how many innocent Dr Aafias are landing in Jails everyday in your own beloved country; I know how many Aafias are killed, banished, humiliated, dejected, harassed in your beloved country. And I know how many Aafias end up their lives in the captivity of Our lords politicians who pass resolution to secure Aafia's release from US. And I know those old Aafias limping in the courts of your country for justice but no body listens them, AND I know many Aafias black mailed by your policemen and judges asking them to visit thier private rooms if they want things done. greatest Ironies and you are taken by the emotional speeches of these politicians who have their own political agendas to serve.

These foolish politicians are pleading the release of Aafia for political gains where as Millions Afias are being harassed killed raped under their noses here.

What i think is

That courts should decide the matter of Mr. Raymond in bunch of days and it should hang him till death and the punishment should be given within a space of 2 months to check the American pressure on our govt and its double standards....

I don't agree with any of these words that Afia should be exchanged with Raymond. Aafia's case is condemned by all over the world HRO's as injustice to a married intellectual woman. N her case was not at all decisive it was just meant to show american BADMASHI in the region that it can do any thing. Same is the case which Raymond did here in Ferozpur road. I was stunned by his dare that he fired like nobody would react in response like hollywood movies, as if he knoew that Pakistani Govt is a dead body it cant punish him.

He should first be tortured to inquire on which task he was. Who were his commanders and what was he doing with arms in pulbic place. And then,
I beleive CJ HC should sentence him to death and clearly give an example to the world that nobody is above all and he should be sentenced three times because he comitted murder along with finanical penalty....
Americans will never release Aafia siddiqui because our govt lacks the credibility to pressurise them so its better not to raise th invisible issue. We should raise voice against Raymond Devis, he should not be let go. He should be hanged in any case.

raymaond should be treated strictly in accordance with law...if PAK authorities gives him a safe passage without a PROPER trial then it ll be really shameful for every PAKISTANi plus
a lot is needed to be clarified yet regarding his activities in lahore including the killing of said dacoits..he may be an undercover agent etc so, to me, exchanging him with afaia is out of the equation at this stage because if he is an agent then he can proove to be a really usefull lead to hunt down U.S spying network here in PAK and to uncover thier objectives with respect to PAK..after our agencies are done with all this then with the consent of the agrieved party (the family of the one killed in the accident)and if the other two killed by him are confirmed as dacoits,he can be exchanged with afia

You are right dear, but we must send a message to the effect that an enormous hate is burgeoning within this nation against US owing to their unchecked activities in our country. Govt is, no doubt, under pressure, and it seems to be inclined to grant him immunity. Only our courts can play any role.

They already know but don't want to accept it. And yes you are right Govt will grant him immunity, I think in a few days his diplomatic passport will be discovered and they will hand him over to America saying that a diplomat can be tried only in his country's court.
