Our Attitude : A humble request
Assalam O Alikum,
Two day back a incident happened, that made me so upset and arise lots of questions in my mind , where we are going ?, what are our values ?, are we really progressing ,what we are learning ,are we able to call ourselves civilized ; although punching me since long ,but this time intensity is severe. It don’t know is this right platform to request, but I feel it is, this forum has 9679 members; all are young , energetic , educated , devoted ,CSS aspirant and CSS officer also. It is a humble request to each and every member of this forum, with education we should have to groom ourselves morally also (I am not saying they have no moral values). We have to train ourselves as well, how to give respect and how to get it from others .We have to learn how to cope up with pressure, how to save ourselves from corruption, bribery, ruthlessness, contumely, and discourtesy. We all blames our government, but we always forget they are representative of us; what we are, our government is, if they are corrupt then we have to admit we are corrupt, so instead pointing finger toward them first we have to correct ourselves. We must have to start from our own self, then move toward our family, street, village, town, city, tahsil, district, division and so on. I have notice the lack of temperament and tolerance increasing day by day. We must have to learn what enlightenment, freedom and education is; is it just cramming the books for getting some post or something else? To err is human, but have to correct these mistakes, instead repeating again and again. Here most of the member are/are going to be/will be part of the establishment or policy makers (InshaAllah), try be good /positive examples for coming generation ; be special for everyone and take them as special. Along with knowledge we have to educate and groom ourselves on immediate basis. Are we civilized and where we are going and how can we get on track ? share your views . Allah Pak let all of us toward right path. Ameen. @ Moderators I have drop a suggestion in site feedback regarding this. If you feel that this is not a relevant topic you have all rights, of course; I will never complain. Best Regards |

what i have observed in my life is that those people who are really talented and worthy of something are very humble and moderate while, those who just have power but not any ability and moral strength are fanatic, extremist and maniac. power always comes with responsibility and most of the people in power don't understand this phenomenon. this behaviour brings an interlinked chain of anger and short temperament. for example, during a rehearsal in my university yesterday something went wrong and a senior teacher behaved angrily with a junior teacher in front of all students. after some time the same teacher who was the victim of the rage of a senior teacher was getting mad at a clerk and this goes on. here i would blame that senior teacher who did not realise her position and self respect of the other teacher and disseminated a feeling of negativity, anger and rage in her surrounding .conclusively, it can be said that the privileged and educated class must take a step forward to realise that how blessed they are and must learn to behave and act like blessed people. we are not thankful for what we have and always want more and more. if we would learn to say thanks and Alhamdulliah most of our problems will get resolved.

Leaders represent nations not nations represent leaders. Our leaders have brought us at the verge of collapse, destruction and bankruptcy. They have left us, with nothing except to lose patience and temper. if loosing patience represents uncivilized class than millions even billions of Arabs are not uncivilized. they dethroned their leaders because their leaders hadnt represented them ,they were corrupt, prodigal, lavish, extravagent and squanders as our leaders . So,our prestigious leaders need something worst than that of Arabs. And never think we elect them , they are elected by spending billions of rupees which have been earned by them during their sacred tenure. "what we are, our government is, if they are corrupt then we have to admit we are corrupt, so instead pointing finger toward them first we have to correct ourselves." our government is not what we are , they dont live like us, they dnt eat like us, they dnt suffer like us, they dnt bare like us, the dont spend like us , they dnt earn like us , in short, there is no commonality between them and us. people who are in government keep some unique class which donot meant to suffer. dear, i think we must kill our next generation by our own hands instead of leaving them in lurch. Law of jungle is howering upon us like vultures. judicial decisions are abrogated with impunity. Check the severity and extent of corruption scams, my dear , people like you and me can never imagine to make corruption upto this extent. There is not a single person in the family of our beloved and honourable Mr. prime minister who is free from the corruption scams. Wife, 13 crore debts abdul qadir gilani , haj scam, Nicl scam mosa gilani, drug daughter, representative in UNO under what rule MR.Pm, .............. (Allah inko lambi zindgi dy) these people hate to love poors and they love to mesh poors . if we dealt with them with love and respect ,it meanz we sre offering our Pakistan like a piece of cake. |

@ amna and @shoaib khan12
How are societies formed?
When certain group of people share common values, adhere to identicle norms, exhibit similar culture and unanimously abide by various rules, society is said to be established. This is a centuries long process that requires input from every individaul voluntarily or otherwise some social force compels him/her to follow the suit. The existence of some renowned institutions is a must in the structure of that particular society to enable it perform a specific function for the welfare of that particular society. However, the continuity of upholding good moral values and inculcation of wise traits is subject to the factors dependent on roles performed by various satuses in the society. And the bigger the role, the higher the magnitude of responsibity. So, in our case, though not solely, yet greatly the leaders are responsible for the degradation in moral values, lost in dignity, dehumanisation of the creed and deviation from adhering to the law and order. Remember, a common man is never remembered in history. These are only Kings and Generals or some Leaders of the similitude that never die. This is so because they are the true reflection of the people of their time. Of course, not in a sense of power, prestige or property but the behavioural patterns. The leaders are in fact the architects of their respective nations. They live ahead of time to design the future of their masses. Their actions speak louder than their words and consequently inspire their people. For instance, the great leader of all times, the last Prophet (SAW) of Allah (SWT), took birth in a society far morally degraded but he (SAW) moulded the entire course of history of Arabia henceforth. His subsequent four companions set out examplary precedences by themselves to build remarkable characters of highly upgraded moral values in every strata of the society at that time. The Sahabas and intellectuals of those times worked day and night in the 6th century to preserve and even penetrate those moral values in the far flung societies. The effects of which flourished till the next couple of centuries. Mohammad bin Qasim, Mehmood Ghaznavi, Salahuddin Ayubi, and the like were just the prominent samples of the Muslim Society with high moral values. In a nut shell, the traits or properties transfer up-side-down across the strata of the society and not vice versa.

I totally agree with faisal86.
We have to put our role individually but it is the actual responsibility of our leaders to build norms and such moral values in society. Need to know and identify ourself; why we created? not only for worship of Allah but to help, support and sympathy for other. Change should bring from ourself first, if we look back in history, most of non Muslims were impress by good behaviour , kindness and simplicity of Islam. Islam teach us respect respect and respect. We should response of bad by good, may be other can realise is/her fault and come on track, if they don't, doesn't matter we should do good by our end not for the sake of other but for Allah! Believe in Allah, believe in yourself because you are huaman (Ashraf ul Makhuqat) and go ahead, never is impossible!!

respect , respect , respect, we respect our elders , we love our youngsters we live simple lives, but all this is done individually. one does this fr the sake of oneself, there is a need to think collectively for Pakistan . You can think about moralities and virtues and norms of society becz u r well off . but what about those who have nothing to eat , they cant make their kids to eat, what abt those who are suciding because of hunger and joblessness. what about those who are killed by drones, all these things are gifted to us by our worldly lords. remeber one thing , when we think individually we commit sucide and when we think collectively we bring change, if there is no change there is a hope to bring change. 66 years have been passed, pakistanis let their lords to do what they they want to, but now enough is enough, for 64 years we kept patience an d simplicity but what was given to us in return, change is only the solution , i think. |

Seriously, this is our attitude; we are in the race to compare ourselves with such corrupts and want to spend life like them. Why can’t compare us with those below or some even not blessed with the basic needs of life or those living not a luxurious life ,but they are satisfied or honestly performing their duties and abiding all rule and regulation. We never become satisfy with what we have and always want more and more. Habitual to view, half glass empty. People are doing well in this era, have a look here, may feel some confidence . Quote:

Is it meaning, we also should start same practices? We got the right to do same? Corruption is corruption doesn’t matter up to what extent or at what level, everything starts from a dot and then grows. Suicide bombing is suicide bombing; kill one or hundreds. The person is innocent up till didn’t get the chance. We should at least try to change this concept now.We have to be particle in true senses. Quote:
Have to feel and abide this magnitude of responsibility by all, Isn't. Quote:

True, but what is traits of our society are, what should we follow and from where? ; traits of Pakistani leaders or The Leader of all the times, Hazarat Muhammad (SAW) ,his companions and followers? We have to contribute by doing very very well and hard in designing, reshaping, and contracting ourselves and our society, our norms, positively and in true senses. Believe me idea of revolution, strikes, shutter down, long march, bombing, not works; just enhance chaos, disillusionment and anarchy. Stay Blessed..

Ofcourse Not. All of us are culprits in one way or the other. However, the degree of responsibility reduces as we move up-side-down in a verticle strata. Golden words. In a way you are exerting some social force to bring some wrong into right. Because goodness never dies. Quote:

We all blames our government, but we always forget they are representative of us; what we are, our government is, if they are corrupt then we have to admit we are corrupt, u said this i just replied that we are not what our govt is they are corrupt and i am not corrupt then why i admit that i am corrupt. i am not saying that we fight with each other , i said that we have to collectively fight with the system and govt as arabs did. and if we wont take initative then our coming generations would suffer what is happening in karachi is not doing you are me, are the locals of Liyari, it is done with the aim of our politicians , we need to change these politicians The person is innocent up till didn’t get the chance. . this is not the case this is what you think and you cannot generalize ur statement that everybody is like that , there are millions who suffr but never make corruption , |

First of all we have to see before the answer of the question that where the change starts, from the top or from the bottom. Besides this what are the rules to bring change in democratic system of Government, the masses of the rulers?
