Angry The biggest mistake of my life..that i did Engineering?

To be an engineer is the biggest mistake of my life.....
I am regretting it.....I wish that i would have not done Engineering...
Well, I have gone through all of these fake tests like OGDCL,PSO etc etc..
Though i am preparing for my CSS exams (2014) slowly ,,,but now i am frustrated ...It's going beyond my limits....
I am unemployed since January 2012....
The worst thing is that i did apply for teaching in school's....but all in vain...
As in Multan, schools like LGS,Nishat,Bloomfield ,La Salle etc....simply refuses by saying that...you have professional ( Engineering) degree & you will leave the institution the moment you get any other professional job....
It's more than a year....& have got nothing..
did apply for fraud PYIP program too...that to in vain...never got allocated....
To prepare for CSS is not an easy task...even many books need too be bought..that requires money...& in my case i can't buy many books as they require big bucks...
Sometimes, i feel like tearing my degree or burning it would be great..
I just regret being a Chemical Engineer.....
Neither any school nor any low scale Government job???
Everyone refuses...reason over qualified for low scale jobs....
High scale jobs require approach or luck......
& i don't have either.....

We don't have vacancies to engage our technically educated youth and probably this is our one of the biggest problem.

Be patient. Don't loose faith from the system... Sooner or later every thing is going to be okay

One does not need big bucks to get css books. In fact you can get almost 100 per cent material of all compulsory and optional subjects from internet.. and else you can easily approach any good library in Multan..

Don't lose hope. ALLAH always have better plan for us, things may seem worse at times but actually what is there for you in a long run is always the best one. Trust your LORD who is the Best Planner, most Beneficient, the most Merciful!
Wish you luck!

well to my little knowledge there is no as such library in Multan...Secondly, dear internet is a great but not the complete source...i just went to book store & inquired about different books...
they were in the range from 250+ to 600......
as i am totally dependent on my brother (as my father is not alive) so i can not ask him to give me money for books....as he clearly said too me ...ab tumhein kab tak bardasht karna ho ga( few days ago)
whatever, Thanks to Allah & my bro that at least they are providing me good food to eat....& have shelter for night.....
Moreover, electricity.....that too is the biggest gift of Pakistan.....
there are 24 hours....almost on everyday basis....there is load shedding of more than 12+ hours...here...so internet usage is to the minimum..........
well, thanks to everyone here.....but still i believe that the worst of my life is ....
that damn degree of chemical engineering....& i belong to this country.........
if i would have done B.Sc in any science subject, at least...i would have got tuition to teach in any academy ...if not any job....at least to bear my own burden...

agree with you dear.you should keep faith in ALLAH that he has planned something better for you but don't believe in system. Pakistan's system is most corrupt system in the world.even if you get the job on 100% merit which is not possible in pakistan.you will have to give bribe to many people until you get your final letter. My advice will be to leave the country and try your luck their.

My dear fellow,

There is no need to take any tension. I have heard/read somewhere that sometime Allah tests us by giving a lot of things and sometime by taking things/not giving ... So its a sort of test and another thing never ever have disappointment/hopelessness... Keep up your efforts for seeking job and simultaneously start preparation for CSS. May Allah bless you, amin.

Regards

Thumbs up Never Give up my dear Engineer

In Pakistan more than thousands of engineers are jobless it doesnt mean that we loose hope and starts cursing our degrees, discipline institutions, country etc .

I am also a chemical engineer brother, IN SHA ALLAH there will be a time we all will be at good jobs/places. I met many chemical engineers who got job after two and three (even 5) years.

Being an engineer, doctor, lawyer doesn't ensure your RIZQ, it is the matter of ALLAH(RAZIQ) and his BANDA.

I will really pray for you my brother and wish ou best of Luck.

Thumbs up

Dear you don't need to worry about. It happens with every passing out from
various universities and colleges as he enters in practical life rather he feels like that. You should keep faith in God and do hard work
because the time for everyone's livelihood is written already. CSS and other exams or nothing but it is your determination and will power that matters a lot.
Best of luck..!!
