pas apne koi hunar hi nahin raha,
hamain karna hai safar dambadam sue shehre yar
aur rah main koi shajar hi nahin raha,
phahay kon rakhay meray ristay zakhmon pe
sitamgar hain sabhi koi charagar hi nahin raha,
dil main girtay rahay pather ki surat aansu
kis pe sir rakhtay kandha koi mayyassar hi nahin raha,
dil k aangan main zard ruton k hain deray
khilain jahan gulaab aisa koi nagar hi nahin raha
