Lakh khilonay tod chukay ho, ek khilona aur sahi !

Raat hai gham ki aaj bhuja do jalta hua har ek chirag,
Dil mein andhera ho hi chuka hai, ghar mein andhera aur sahi !

Dam hai niklta ik aashiq ka, beeed hai aa kar dekh to lo,
Lakh tamashay dekhay hongay, ek nazaara aur sahi !

Khanjar ley kar saunchtay kya ho, qatl `Murad' bhi kar daalo,
Daag hain sau daaman pay tumharay, ek izaafa aur sahi !
