Woh ek shaKhs ki haasil na thaa jo Khud ko bhii
MiTaa kisii pe to kaisaa bahaal aayaa hai

Zubaa.N pe harf-e-talab bhii nahii.n ko_ii phir bhii
Nigaah-e-dost me.n rang-e-jalaal aayaa hai

Kiyaa na zikr bhii jis kaa tamaam umr kabhii
Hamaare kaam bahut woh malaal aayaa hai

Nahii.n hai tum se ko_ii dostii bhii ab to magar
Qadam qadam pe ye kaisaa vabaal aayaa hai
