dunya may aab dukhoon kay siwa kuch naheen raha

Aek umar hogaye hay kay dil ki kitaab main
kuch khushk patiyoon kay siwa kuch naheen raha

Yaadain kuch istarah say sima-aat pay cha gayeen
pichlee rifakatoon kay siwa kuch naheen raha

Lub see liyee tu apnay he kamray may yoon laga
khamoosh aaeenoon kay siwa kuch naheen raha

Jazbay tamaam kho gaye lamhoon ki dhool main
aab dil may dharkanoon kay siwa kuch naheen raha

sima-aat...? ,,is it samaa.a't(sense of hearing)?if it is, then it looks odd here ,as how can be memories dominant on sense of hearing ?

I have said on the same rhythm during typing as:

jaa to rahaa hay soo-e-Haram :Shah: too magar
dil meN tire butoN ke siwaa kuCh naheeN rahaa

Your contribution was very nice--But two fields were weak 1-pronunciation,2-Roman text (writing urdu in english alphabets) -We shouldn't ignore our language in the love of the language of our ex-masters- Please do write the name of the poet also-

That’s samaa.at the sense of hearing and I guess you took it wrong. He is referring to the memories that are echoing all the time (LETS put it that way)
