hawa k leh-jay say phhir ish-ti-aal aaya hay

kamaaal shakhs hay aankhon k aabgeenay say
wo aansuon k samandar nikaal aaya hay

badan ko thhanda kia hay nazar ki garmi say

wo jis mein kab ka mera uss ka uthna beth-na tha
jhulas gaya hay wo saaya shajar ki garmi say

ye Arzoo hii rahii koi Arzoo karate
Khud apanii aag main jalatey jigar lahuu karate

tere Khayaal main gum hokey ek Ghazal kahatey
aur us Ghazal ko na rusvaa kuu-ba-kuu karatey.
