ہونٹ ہلا کر رہ جاتا ہے
پھر بھی سب کچھہ کہہ جاتا ہے

ہم بھی روک نہیں سکتے ہیں
وہ بھی کونسا رہ جاتا ہے

سپنے تو چھوٹا سا گھروندہ
بڑا بڑا گھر ڈھ جاتا ہے

خشک کنارا ہی ہوتا ہے
جو سیلاب میں بہہ جاتا ہے

چھوڑ تو جائیں شہر ِ محبت
دل اپنا رہ رہ جاتا ہے

ق

کوئی کچھہ بھی کہہ جاتا ہے
اور دل سب کچھہ سہہ جاتا ہے

جاذب اُس کے نام کا آنسو
کسی بہانے بہہ جاتا ہے
