Bethay bethay yaad kaya aaya bohat barson k baad,

aankh say behnay laga darya bohat barson k baad,

aaj pehlay ki tarah mein nay usay socha bohat,

jum gaya dar par koi saya bohat barson k baad,

janay kesi saa'aton say ab guzarna hai mujhay,

phir hawa ka zaaeqa badla bohat barson k baad,

sub ta'aluq torna phir raabton ko jorna,

tum nay bhi aakhir yeh kaya socha bohat barson k baad,

us nay bheji hai masafat say palatnay ki khabar,

phir laga mujh ko bhi sub acha bohat barson k baad,

tum nay ab shehnaz us ko bhool janay k liay,

kar liya yeh faisla kesa bohat barson k baad.......
