jahaan talak bhi ye seharaa dikhaai detaa hai
merii tarah se akelaa dikhaai detaa hai

na itanaa tez chale sar-phiri havaa se kaho
shajar pe ek hi pattaa dikhaa_ii deta hai

buraa naa maaniye logon kii aib-jui kaa
inhen to din kaa bhii saayaa dikhaai detaa hai

ye ek abr kaa Tukaraa kahaan kahaan barase
tamaam dasht hi pyaasaa dikhaai detaa hai

vo alvidaa kaa ma.nzar vo bhigati palaken
paas-e-Gubaar bhi kyaa kyaa dikhaai detaa hai

meri nigaah se chhup kar kahaan rahegaa koi
ke ab to sang bhi sheeshaa dikhaai detaa hai

simat ke rah daye aaKhir pahaar se qad bhi
zameen se har koi uunchaa dikhaai detaa hai

ye kis maqaam pe laai hai justajuu terii
jahaan se arsh bhi neechaa dikhaaii detaa hai

khilii hai dil mein kisii ke badan ki dhuup "Shakeb"
har ek phuul suneharaa dikhaai detaa hai
