کیا بہت ضروری ھے؟
خواب پوش آنکھوں میں
آنسوؤں کا بھر جانا
حسرتوں کے ساحل پر
تِتلیوں کا مر جانا
حبس کی ہواؤں میں
خوشبوؤں کا ڈر جانا
دل کے گرم صحرا میں
حشر کا بپا ہونا
درد لا دوا ہونا
کیا بہت ضروری ھے؟
اب تیرا جدا ہونا

کہ یوں سوتےہوۓمت چھوڑکےجانا
مجھےبےشک جگادینا
بتادینا
تمہیں رستہ بدلناہے
میری حدسےنکلناہے
تمہیں کس بات کا ڈرتھا
تمہیں جانےنہیں دیتا
کہیں پر قید کر لیتا
ارےپاگل
محبت کی طبیعت میں
زبردستی نہیں ہوتی
جسےرستہ بدلناہو
اسےرستہ بدلنےسے
جسےحدسےنکلناہو
اسےحدسےنکلنےسے
نہ کوی روک پایاہے
نہ کوی روک پاۓ گا
توتمہیں کس بات کاڈرتھا
مجھےبےشک جگادیتے
میں تم کودیکھ ہی لیتا
تمہیں کوی دعا دیتا
کم ازکم یوں تو نہ ہوتا
میرےساتھی حقیقت ہے یہ
تمہارےبعدکھونےکےلیے
کچھ بھی نہیں باقی
مگر کھونےسےڈرتاہوں
میں اب سونےسےڈرتاہوں
کہاتھاناں
کہ یوں مت چھوڑ کےجانا
