Hum ko bhi maloom hai lekin ab es gham ko seh janay ki
Dil mai taab nahin jana!

Jeewan rog nahin jana
Lekin woh jo marham bun ker her ek zakhm sila detay thay
Ab woh log nahin jana!

Jeewan sham nahin jana
Suraj se majboor ho tum bhi shayad samt badal lenay per
Yeh ilzam nahin jana!

Jeewan aag nahin jana
Apni sundarta ki lau main apnay aap he jal jatay hain
Jin k bhaag nahin jana!

Jeewan dhool nahin jana
Tez hawa ki aahat sun ker shaak se apni kut jaye
Yeh aisa phool nahin jana!
