ہاتھ خالی ، اس جہاں سے اک کفن کو اوڑھ کر

وقت نکلا جا رہا ہے ہوش میں آؤ سنو !
فاصلے مٹ جائیں دل سے دل ملاؤ دوڑ کر

دیکھو اب تک ہم تمہیں ہیں چاہتے ، ہیں ہم فدا
ایسے تڑپاؤ نہیں ، نہ جاؤ یوں منہ موڑ کر

ہم نہیں ہوں گے تو بولو کس سے روٹھو گے صنم
کیسے تم ناراض ہوگے دل کسی کا توڑ کر

اچھا بابا اب نہیں جھگڑا کریں گے تم سے ہم
آج سے الفت جتائیں گے سبھی کچھ چھوڑ کر

اتنا تو مت ظلم ڈھاؤ معاف کردو اب ”خیال”
سامنے دیکھو کھڑے ہیں ہاتھ اپنے جوڑ کر
