Default Why some members of the forum say? "Contact me through email."

In many threads, I observed some members of the forum post the following message:
"Contact me through email."

They induce other members (particularly female members) to contact them through email for discussion. I put my question to the other members of the forum, should we discourage this practice?

As per my opinion, this forum should be used for constructive discussion on relevant topics.

Default Good job mate.

Now this is called as the real surveilliance and vigilancy.
I would love to see this man as a moderator who really can use his wisdom and acumen provided with discretionary powers for the greater good of forum and aspirants unlike issuing some warnings over trivial matters and considering the job done.

AoA Muzzamil, Dear sharing contact info in threads is not allowed and most of the members don't share their mobile numbers in their profiles, rather they prefer emails. Now your query is why they do so? Brother not everyone is equipped with skills to upload data online at sharing websites and many don't even grasp online sharing techniques. Now the easier way to get whatever help someone needs, he/she has to contact that person through email/cell phone(whatever option available). Your idea of preying on female members by asking them to contact the person through email is a bit pessimist.

We are here as a family and a community. You give respect and you take respect. Those who don't give respect, they don't get it from others.
I do not completely ignore your idea of preying on female members but not all members on this forum are like that. Most of the senior members treat male and female members alike and their aim here is helping others not preying on them.

Suppose if you didn't know how to share any helpful material here online, wouldn't you ask anyone who wants your help to contact you through email or cell no: so that you may provide him/her the help he/she needs.

Think positively dear.

Regards,
Stay Blessed

Dear Muzamil,

Since you have posted a link of one of my thread as well tau let me clarify. Brother I have taught History of USA at National Officers Academy Islamabad for almost a year and I started that thread because I noticed that no book except Majumdar is available on that particular subject in Market. So the best and easiest way to share my compiled notes was via this forum. I asked aspirants to contact me via email because Cssforum doesn't allows direct sharing. The intention behind this was to serve the needs and demands of aspirants who opted for US History rather than any malign thought/desire. it just the matter of your approach brother as how you perceive things.

Till date, I have entertained queries of 100's of aspirants and have shared my notes with more than 500 to 600 aspirants via this for forum. For a person like me its important to help aspirants rather than preying on Female members of this forum.

Alhamdullilah I am engaged and very happy with my life. This forum is like a family to me and many other seniors whom I personally know and trust me nobody, No body messes with his family or prey on it's own family members. It is a mutual process of giving and taking respect. Those who might be involved in these kind of malicious activities are exposed sooner or later but not every body would possess that Kind of approach/intention when they say "Contact me via email". Its just the matter of rational approach as how do you perceive things, for some that approach can be optimistic and for others its often pessimist, busy in finding the darker sides of even good things.

Good luck brother and I request female members of this forum to please expose me or any other senior member if I have tried to be personal with them, when contacted via email.

Regards,

@Incounternable” & @Naveed Bhuttu

Dear “Incounternable” & Naveed Bhuttu brothers,

I never intended to hurt the feelings of any person on the forum. I am really sorry and I would like to apologies if you misunderstood my post. My intension was just to suggest that we should use this prestigious forum for constructive discussion on relevant topics. So that other members of the forum may take the advantage of fruitful debate rather than sharing material privately. I always preferred to discuss said matters on the forum. You may have a look on my post for reference (http://www.cssforum.com.pk/726905-post13.html).
This forum proved itself the best academy for the aspirants and the members of this forum are serving people voluntarily without any personal gains. To give constructive feedback is the right of every member of the forum for better service.

Dear Muzzamil, when it comes to constructive discussion it is done here on the forum but when someone has to share useful material and notes it is either shared through email or through sharing websites like mediafire.com....

In one thread a female member had asked to share GAT material. I had that material with me but I was unable upload it on my mediafire account at that time so I asked her to mail me I'll respond with said material but she got furious that why I was asking her email. I instantly replied that I'll respond later with said links to the GAT material and it took time but later I shared the links to GAT material.

The thing is that there are instances when you can share info in discussion but sharing complete notes in written replies is a very lengthy process and someone who can not afford to give that much time in sharing his handwritten notes in threads one by one will surely ask to share them through email or sharing websites whatever option easier for that member.

P.S: Your idea of inducing other members particularly female members in private/personal discussion was much more highlighted by other worthy members than your idea of constructive discussion. That is why we had to respond to the said situation.

Regards,
Stay Blessed

Simply, because I am not a frequent visitor of this forum. But, I regularly check my emails due to office work. Secondly, I can not post all the data here on the forum. Any way, if moderators have any objection, then I will avoid sharing my experience and material through emails. Even sometimes for guidance, I prefer to talk on phone. Khair, every mind is a unique filter. Her 1 ki perception bhi alag hai.
Stay blessed.
