I think one can also add the follwing subjects in the Criminal Paper. The Police Order, 2002. The Offence against Property (Enforcement of Hadd) Ordinance of 1979. The Prohibition (Enforcement of Hadd) Order, 1979. But due to the short span of time for the candidates and the limited time duration in the paper, it is very much possible that the paper will mailnly contain questions from, CrPC and PPC. So one must rely and focus on these two above mentioned subjects.

@Asif Malik
If the writ bears the successfull result, then there are very little chance of exam being held on schedule. Also there could be possibility of the postponement of exam. One must concentrate on the subjects and the preparation irrespective of the outcome of writ petition.

Writ against posts of Civil Judges
LHC registrar, others issued notices on recruitment of civil judges
LAHORE: The Lahore High Court (LHC) on Monday issued notices to the LHC registrar and two others on a petition seeking withdrawal of an advertisement for the recruitment of 339 civil judges in Punjab. The petitioner, Tariq Aziz Malik advocate, has made the LHC registrar, and the secretaries of the Services and General Administration and Law departments as respondents in the petition. The petitioner claimed the procedure adopted for the recruitment of the civil judges was unwarranted by law and the constitution. He said only the Punjab Public Service Commission (PPSC) had the authority to conduct the examination, as laid down in Section 5 of the Punjab Judicial Services Rules. He said according to the advertisement, the written exam would be held only for two subjects, which amounted to degrading the office of the civil judge as earlier the exam comprised seven subjects. staff report LAHORE: Tariq Aziz Malik advocate on Friday moved an application before the Lahore High Court (LHC), requesting it to make the objections raised by the Punjab governor as part of his main petition seeking the withdrawal of an advertisement for the recruitment of 339 civil judges in Punjab. The governor had raised objections against the appointments as the provincial government wanted to recruit the judicial officers in violation of the Punjab Judicial Service Rules of 1974, he stated. Grade-16: The lawyer said the officials of grade-16 or above could not be appointed without following the rules, adding the government had also not laid down any criteria to ascertain the candidates’ knowledge. The government action also lacked transparency and merit in the selection process, he added.
