Dear Wasiqh, we can not predict the exact number of candidates for kpk or FATA or for other regions due to the fact that candidates hailing from different areas are internally migrated due to one reason or the other. Therefore, there may be more than dozen candidates in Lahore, Karachi and Quetta centres who belong to Kpk or Fata. The list may go above 200 if there are kpk candidates appearing from other centres.

for FATA/NA there are 4 seats for JIO and 4 seats for AD.

to whom it may concern,

this post is to spark this almost dead thread, as i found information that might interest most of you.

1. the total posts advertised
JIO - 139
AD - 103
DD - 49
AddlD - 18

the total of these comes to=>242

2. as most of you would remember in the lastest EOI notice NAB has mentioned in-service training programs (interactive) for the 367 officers of grade 16 to 19 for a period of seven months

3. this can mean 2 things that come to my mind:
i) the total no. of posts have been increased.
ii) Nab intends to train previous employees with the newly recruited.

4. -seats increased 125,
-seats for AD increased around 53 (using ratio)

these are my views and calculations, they shouldn't be 100% relied on, just mostly opinion.

what do you guys reckon?

But you have missed the number of quota seats for female and minorities..Besides, I have read in 'THE NEWS' few weeks back that NAB is going to send some 300 investigation officers abroad for training. May be they increase the strength of IO only.

Furthermore, you have missed counting grade 18 and 19 seats. as a whole it becomes 309 which is short of 58 if compared with 367 mentioned in EOI. Therefore, they have either increased 58 vacancies for all scales or they may adjust the existing workforce in the upcoming training.

assuming your opinion is true, either way it will be good for us;

1, if no. of seat are increased => we will have better chances of selection
2, or if they are training existing 125 employees then there r chances that these employee shall be considered for promotion after such an extensive/7months training, so their problem and court stay issue on fresh recruitment may also be resolved

quota seat for females and minorities doesnt mean there be additional seats reserved for them rather 10% and 5% of existing seats shall be allocated for females and minorities and it wont effect total number of seats
