Brother, that should be a post-training issue, presently no one would be in a position to pre-determine your post-training location.

I got the letter for Asst. Director,NAB today, and I'm from FATA. I have qualified CSS-2012 as well, and got interview on 22nd Feb. Now I'm not sure about the terms and conditions of joining NAB. Need clarification from senior members please. They've stated in Clause 5, that we will join the organization for 5 years after a probation period of 1 year, and if we wish to leave the organization before that period, we will be indemnifying the organization, and will be liable to pay back the expenses that were incurred on our training etc. I can't leave this job, as I'm currently unemployed. And at the same time, I'm expecting a nice group in CSS, the result of which will be finalized till May i think. Senior members please guide me, if i wish to leave NAB training in the mid, would it turn into a legal thing? And how much expenses would they ask me to pay back?? I'm currently indecisive.
Regards
Yasir

These posts are 100% made temporary after the deal, therefore it will not effect their seniority. There should be words like ''temporary but likely to continue indefinitely'' and here in the letter it is ''purely temporary basis''. look at the advertisement and your appointment letter. wow how nasty they are.
You are simply trying to rock the boat. Since you are out of this party, you should no longer be on this thread as the moral obligations require. If you do not know NAB rules, you should no longer consider yourself an authority to say that we are victim of any 'ill move'. This thread is no longer useful for you. You better spend your time and energies on finding better opportunities rather than making attempts to rain on our parade.

You must weigh your options. If I were in your shoes, I would have embraced the NAB job offer. Maximum extent NAB will go is to make you pay bak the expenses it incured on your training, and I reckon you will have already made enough money from the salary to indemnify the training expenses at halfway stage when you get CSS result.

Secondly, if you are completely certain that you will get css opportunity, do not go for NAB offer. Spend time with your family, go out of Pakistan for sight seeing, or spend time on studies.

About two to three weeks ago we all were absolutely mad about these jobs and wanted them as bad as anything... and now ALHAMDULILAH when we have the offer letters in our hands... everyone is picking out something like salary, contract, bond, can we leave the job if we are selected as a CSP officer, how will we live in Islamabad, this job will give me 10 to 20k less than what I am earning and all the other things...

For GOD sake... these jobs do not belong to hesitant people... you can call at NAB hq and tell them if someone is not interested so that many who are in the reserved list could get a chance to join...

Brother aperbro, I think you are one sensible fellow but this diatribe of yours against nargwaasi is uncalled for. Though, he was at losing end and didn't qualify, but he rightly pointed out the 'contentious parts' of offer letter, which I believe many others must have noticed as well. As we have seen that not all members choose to comment here, but I am sure many still have some unanswered questions in their head and they want to have access to accurate information so that they could take an informed decision.

I believe he has actually notified people to look into the things (which also caught my attention before even reading his post) not that he had a mala fide intention or felt anything jealous about or that he wanted to create panic. So my humble advice to you is that please don't censure him on his 'opinion piece', hurt not others in ways that you yourself would find hurtful.

Please don't get offended bro!
Peace!
