I myself lived in I-8 for two years. Its not too far from the Uni in Chak Shahzad as well as posh and safe sector of Isbd. There are lots of hostels for males and females. Its better than I-9, I-10 and Pendora.

i think hostel will be more secure as we all will be in same hostel , whereas in a rented house maximum 2-4 girls can stay to gather,
as far as other problems are concerned, we can arrange clean bed/blanket by purchasing new one or bringing our own, but i would much prefer mess arrangement as idont know how to cook, waise bhi all of us have eaten from college/ university canteens and i dont think they are very hygienic either, so dont worry about that, by now we must have enough immunity against germs :p

p.s can u add me on fb, or give me your id ( i am going to post on FB page for all girls to easily find my id and add me there, n then i ll suggest them as frnz to other girls too)

is the training in chack shehzad?

salam to all. in my opinion there is a trade off regarding residence either you go for the short distance or for better facilities. I lived in Islamabad for 6 years 2006-2012 that's why have some knowledge. near university there are so many hostels but they have such facilities in which only a student can adjust hahahaha means tough conditions. distance wise areas which are a bit better:
1- shahzad town
2-abpara
3-g6
4-18
5-g8
6-i9
7-i10
the place where comsats is located is like village or suburbs of isb.
so boys trade off as per your choice.
and girls if you are looking for security then my opinion is near to comsats area is not suitable for you because of the student hostels all around. for girls I would suggest you to opt the girls hostels located in above mentioned areas which do have security guards and female staff.

note: f-6 and f-7 can also be an option but if someone wants a luxury type accommodation. secure and clean but will be like you are doing job and pay is going to someone else hahahahahah much expensive.

I have not seen any satisfactory replies to the questions I had raised on page 384 which may please be replied.

I have received appointment letter for the post of DD. The posting is mentioned as Rawalpindi/ Islamabad in the first paragraph of the offer letter. I have following questions:
1. Whether the location will remain the same after training or otherwise?
2. Has any body received letter with another posting location?

I have not found any posting information in the jointing instructions. Through replying my 2nd question we would be clear for our posting/location.
