As per my experience of Finance Department, salary for various Pay Scales would stand as:

## Since NAB is going to provide the transportation upto the campus, so Rs. 5000/- as conveyance allowance may not be given to the officers. If they admit it then add that amount in the Net Salary.

## If during training 15% Nab Allowance is given, then add Rs. 1500/- (BPS-16), Rs. 2400/- (BPS-17) and Rs. 3000/- (BPS-18) accordingly.

## House Rent not house hiring may be admissible since officers will not be producing rent assessment certificate and rent agreement of their accommodation.

- As far as the NAB Allowance is concerned, everybody at NAB confirmed that it has always been admissible for trainees as well.

- With regard to conveyance allowance, I can agree that yes NAB MAY deduct the allowance provided the trainees agree to avail the transport facility. But then those who may have their own conveyance would be receiving the allowance as part of their salary.

- Well, I do understand that generally a rent agreement is undertaken for a period of 11 months, but don't you think so that since anybody who is going to rent an apartment or avail the hostel facility can produce the relevant documentation before NAB for the reimbursement of the house rent against house ceiling allowance. Since the difference between the "House Rent-45% of Basic Pay" and "House Ceiling - 2.5 to 2.75 times of House Rent" is huge, therefore I believe everybody would choose to go for a decent accommodation and claim the 'House Ceiling'.

should i go, join and comeback again to khi.
or tell them that i can join on the 8th....

Dear very tricky situation !

If the NAB allows you to join after 7 than you can stay otherwise i would say that you should give your joining on 6th and try to come back to Karachi.

Flight schedule can't be trusted. God forbid if you couldn't turn up on your interview for some reason, then you could miss your interview. So simply call them up and tell them for some personal reason you won't be able to make it to Islamabad by 6th, and if they allow you to arrive by 7th or the next working day.

Dear I think its nothing to worry. You have to talk to NAB officials, first. If they accomodate you for late joinimg, its good, but if they dont, then FPSC will surely agree to interview you at islamabad. And its off on 7th I believe. Dont worry, just call nab, see if they do favor to u, but if they dont, then go for FPSC favor....but remember...always be young and hopeful...:-)

I just gave a call to Mr. Asif Hussain Shah (Addl. Dir Admin). With regard to medical tests he informed me that we'll be issued a letter on our joining and referred to a surgeon in the vicinity of Islamabad. Moreover, he stated that Mr. Mujahid along with a whole committee are looking for a female hostel where all the female employees can be adjusted under a single roof.

Can anybody tell me how many years of acquaintance are required for a valid character certificate?
