NAB is a fairly tough and hard job that will challenge you emotionally. Think hard before joining. Take care.
i appreciate your comments and observation above but i think i look at the picture from a different perspective. Here are some of the points flashing through my mind while reading your intimidating remarks:
Jobs such as those in NAB are not easy. Everyone know that. That is why it is looked at with utmost respect in the society. You think the life of an army officer serving at the front is easy. Imagine being constantly under the threat of getting killed by a terrorist. Imagine being ambushed or your Vehicle hitting an IED. These jobs are not easy. Only the most talented with high composure and will power can serve in such capacities. That is why it receives the respect it deserves. It is not just about earning a livelihood. It is about fighting the menace of corruption which is slowing decaying our society like cancer. Serving in such positions with honesty can make a difference in society. Being youth of this country we are bestowed with a chance to bring a change. How many of your friends you know have such chances? That is why high level of handwork, sacrifice and competence is expected from people serving in these positions. If someone wants an easy job then perhaps one should choose that field accordingly. The key is to stay motivated and keep reminding yourself that you are serving a bigger and honorable purpose and Allah will guide and Help you inshallah !

May Allah SWT bless us with strong courage and faith to fight against malpractices. Ameen.
I second br Sohail Kamran that every good deed is challenging here, infact not only here but everywhere. I read a case that not long ago, a teacher was beaten to death by a student because, they deceased teacher stopped him from using unfair means in the examinatio. So, in every field there are challenges. I used used word challenges because one can overcome these if He asks Allah SWT help and blessings, remains steadfast on the right and honest path and shows determination and courage.

I agree that one need to be determined and motivated, its not only a job rather I consider it a mission, and I am really glad that Al Hamdulillah, my other colleagues are also of the same view. I hope and pray that this batch will be gem of a batch of NAB and may Allah SWT bless, guide, protect and help us all in eradicating the menace of corruption from the society. Aameen

Though its not an easy job but as explained by other forum members, every job has its own challenges. The environment in NAB is not like that as described by our dear forum member. Don't be dishearted or worried while you are joining NAB. If one is not satisfied after joining, one can leave it.
