Functions of Federal Board of Revenue.
Fiscal Policy of Pakistan/Federal budget 2015-16
Tax Administration/Reforms in Pakistan
Sales Tax Act 1990 as amended upto July 2014
Federal Excise Act 2005 as amended upto July 2014
Customs act 1969
Customs rules 2001
Sales tax rules 2001.
NOTE: This is expected syllabus of the said vacancies. Official syllabus of said vacancies will be up-loaded on fpsc website within 2 or 3 weeks.
Note: title should be read as syllabus of inspector customs/intelligence officer and preventive officer.

Dear With respect. The syllabus you mentioned is specific to Financing and accounts. But the eligibility criteria is some sort of General. Like for instance ALL Engineers are also eligible. So simple is that an engineer or the candidates of Computer science has nothing to do with customs, taxation, economy etc etc.... In my opinion setting such kind of syllabus for the screening test is totally unfair. Screening test should be made in such a way that everyone can perform and compete equally. Like general tests which include ENGLISH MATH G.K and I.Q and analytical portion etc.

Anyway just my opinion. Best of Luck Everyone with Suxces I.A..

I have been reading quite a few queries in this thread about perks priviliges of these jobs and comparison with other departments like ASF. Allow me to shed light on the subject according to my experience. I have served at International Airports(s) and have worked and observed closely Custom officials. The job is just ok, salary is good, bribe is abundant, worst policy of promotion pervails in FBR, public relationing is good. Overall its a good job if you are unemployed but nowhere near the ideal career.
P.s. its still way better then ASF inspectors if someone wants to compare with that department because in ASF there are no perks and privilges, low salaries and basically career is a dead end. Best of luck to all of you.

Syllabus abi upload ni howa FPSC website py aur jo ny likha hia yh land revenue ki kisi post ka hai not for current posts.

best of luck for test. syllabus, most expectedly will be the same which I mentioned. However all rights reserved by fpsc. Apply for both jobs i-e (customs inspector/intelligence officer and preventive officer).
