Don't ask such questions like what book is good for this test and what is not..... study even through dusted news papers to improve your knowledge. A good book never gives you surety to pass a test until you have not passion to qualify. Use different study materials for different sections. There is no book on earth except Quran thats covers all the topics 100%

Many people here insists that Carvan's GK is best,but this is the half truth ,because they don't tell that Carvan's GK is best but not enough.I believe that competition is very much tough and candidates should not confine themselves to any particular book, get material from everywhere i.e

Carvan
Ilmi
Dogar
Bhatti
Internet
Newspaper

after preparing all this , you might be able to pass the written exam.
Realize this now,otherwise it will take 5 to 10 PPSC or FPSC objective tests to make you understand that I am right

In preventive officer job i mistakenly wrote wrong domicile place ? So whether I can appear in the test or not ?

how did u come to know about marks because fpsc shows only names of passed candidates but not any marks.
