Kindly share valid & authentic report as per my discussion with EOBI Head office earlier, the case is still in SC & new hearing date is not confirmed by them, it seems they are hiding the real picture but i think there is still vacent rooms for all of interviews canidates, so if your above news is confirmed kindly advsie your souurce for our satisfaction & further decision as well.

agar chairman ko hata bhi dia jata hai to jobs to cancel nahi ho ge na.

Islamabad-The greatest power of bureaucracies is to make the smart act stupid and the good act evil. For this purpose they can even amend the inter-departmental rules and get these rules approved by using any means.

In a recent move, the Chairman of Employees Old Age Benefits Institutions (EOBI), Zafar Iqbal Gondal, who is very influential as one of his brother holds a key Federal Ministry and one of his nephews is the Chairman of Public Accounts Committee (PAC), has managed to get approved the illegal appointments from the Cabinet Sub-Committee on Regularization who approved their regularizations despite the Board of Trustees (BoT) opposing it and gave their dissent notes. Not only this but the people who were appointed on such key posts have no prior experience. To avoid the clause of experience, the Chairman got relaxation from the Board of Trustees.

The Chairman EOBI appointed almost 448 people across the country in his own institution despite the clear cut order of ban on recruitment by the Supreme Court of Pakistan. Out of these 448 people 59 people were appointed from Grade 16 to 18 on the posts of Director General, Deputy Director, Assistant Director and Assistant. All of them have the domicile of Punjab and are from his own district.

A copy of the details of these employees, and the minutes of the BoT’s 101st meeting which was held on January 25, 2012 available with the Spokesman clearly mentions that the approval of relaxation in experience for the post of Deputy Directors was not on the agenda of the meeting but the Chairman put it on. However, the BoT directed that the matter be referred to the Human Resource (HR) Committee of the BoT of EOBI.

The HR committee then held a deliberation on it and many of the members of the HR committee and BoT of EOBI opposed this proposal as there is no such provision in government rules to give relaxation in experience for any government job.

Again, the findings of the HR committee were brought to the BoT in its 102nd meeting held on April 05, 2012. Chaudhry Muhammad Tufail, Employers’ Representative, who is also a member of the BoT opposed this proposal. The Chairman of BoT observed that the Board should ensure the compliance of the orders of the Supreme Court of Pakistan regarding the ban on new appointments in EOBI.

The Secretary Labour, Punjab stated that the recommendations of the HR committee may not be approved as in the government the minimum required experience for the post of BS-18 is five years and the same is for BS 17.

But the Chairman EOBI stated that there were many government organizations where the required experience for the said posts is less than three years. This is an autonomous body and the government rules are not applicable to the autonomous bodies. However, after detailed discussions this proposal was deferred and no other BoT meeting was held after this.
After rejection from the BoT, the Chairman EOBI sent the list of his appointed employees for getting them regularized by the Cabinet Sub-Committee on Regularization which approved their regularizations.

the case was adorned to may tenth due to ahtizaz unavailability according to roznama akbar e khyber. so 2marow it is to be held.

Next hearing date is 5th June 2013. So i think there is no chance

No one has exact information. Appointments totally depends on SC decision but after the transfer of chairman and setup of new Govt. it seems that these hiring will not be completed.
