2. If this is definitively 5 years post qualification experience, then how on earth the minimum age for DD position is defined as "25 years", so let's try maths here:

Kid gets enrolled in 1st grade officially at = 5 yrs
Student gets done with Intermediate = 17 years (12 years for 12 grades)
Finishes Bachelor by: 21 years (4 years of study)
Finishes Master by: 23 years (2 years of study)
after 5 years post-qualification experience: 28 years!

So why on earth the minimum age is set to 25 years. I'm hoping they donot consider BA/BSc+MA/MSc=4/5 yrs of study as standard post-graduate which could reduce the age to 26 to 27 years.

Can somebody explain how a candidate with 25 years of age could stand as an eligible candidate for DD post?

As far as I understand, either DD minimum eligibility age should have been increased to 27 years or any candidate who has accumulated experience in any BPS-17 or equivalent job prior to his post-graduation qualification should be counted toward his cumulative work experience i.e (post-Bachelor + post-Master's)

Any thoughts?
5yrs post qualification experience in BPS-17 or equivalent is also mentioned in the NAB Adv: condition#8. Ad. link

For those candidates who are interested in knowing the total strength of the people who appeared in various types of NAB tests. The answer to how many lies in the structured roll number . For example my roll number is 33120179. When I analyzed this with the exam ID, written on the question booklet (i.e. ID = 12) and then came across with this idea and it proved correct:
33 = City code of Karachi
12 = Deputy Director
0179 = My number in the list of cadidates appearing at an exam center. In my case it is Karachi.

Loaded with this I went through the NTS Candidate Search Option based web page and queried through the last four digit numbers and found out that there were 319 Deputy Director Candidates registered for the Karachi alone. When applied this approach and the normal search I found out that there were four centers in the province of Sindh and I think there were 431 Deputy Director candidates were registered at these four exam centers.

How about my chances, Mr. Arthur? (57 correct for DD)

I would be glad if somebody who has the reliable information can answer (and possibly cite the source of information) to following questions:

1. What is the starting salary for DD, AD and JIO?

1. Is the salary for all selected positions awarded same, or each candidate according to his/her expertise may be awarded different salary?(variable by awarding extra increments).

2. In case of Deputy Directory, is it mandatory to have 5 years post qualification (i.e MS) experience?

3. What if someone who has pre-MS two and half years of BPS-17 scale work-experience and also post-MS two and half years of BPS-17 experience, which makes it 5 years of experience in total. So, is a candidate like that eligible to qualify for deputy directory experience requirements?

4. What books for Psychological test do you suggest to look into ?

5. What if more than one member from the family (sisters & brothers) qualify for the final seat, would all be considered eligible to hold positions simultaneously in NAB or not? (I assume, in that case departments could be different but all guys would be allowed).

I look forward to hear from you guys. Wishing everybody all the very best!
Salaries:
JIO:20,000
AD:30,000-35,000
DD:40,000-50,000
