I called Pakistan Post's helpline and the lady on the other end informed me that UMS takes 2 days and regular 3 days minimum, and that both UMS and Registered mail can be delivered to the PO Box. I visited the Pakistan Post office guys a little while ago and all of them (3) unanimously they said that since it can't be signed for, the chit attached with the mail is dropped into the PO Box, for the receiver to come to the counter to receive the package. Regular mail will itself (the package) will be deposited into the box. They were also extremely certain about my mail (regular) reaching the designated PO Box by evening today, or at most, tomorrow morning. Anyhow, we have already overthought this way too much. I hope everyone's forms reach on time. Best of luck people. |

Yes its better to send it as it has your roll number and it will be more convinient for MOD to maintain your record

No need for the letter. Would have been clearly stated otherwise.

Tracking site shows that it has been dispatched from Rawalpindi office to Islamabad office. My friend is working in a GPO and he has told me that it will be reached at destination in any condition. Respected GPO will drop a receipt in the said PO Box and when the member of MOD will come he will pick the receipt and will go to delivery room to receive the package. So no need to panic guys. Just pray for everyone
