Question Questions regarding PMS preparation

Aoa,

I have three questions regarding PMS:

1. I want to know how much is required to prepare well for PMS ?
2. I am doing MBA (1.5 years) so is it possible for me to go for proposed PMS attempt or should I prepare for the next one ?
3. What is the passing criteria of compulsory and optional subjects in PMS ? Like in CSS compulsory and optional subjects, 40 and 33 marks are the passing criteria.

P.S: Your sincere comments would be highly appreciated. Thanks in anticipation.

Regards.

1) If you are asking about time allocation, then it totally depends upon caliber of candidates and the subjects chosen. I feel that well directed study of 3 to 4 months is enough to clear the written portion.
2) If you have a degree with 14 years or 16 years of study then you can appear in PMS. You ongoing degree is not counted and will not matter.
3) Passing criteria is different in PMS. You need 33% in all individual papers (compulsory and optional) and then you also need 50% of total marks. Which means that 600 marks out of 1200 are required to clear written portion considering you pass all papers.

Thanks a bunch for your detailed reply brother.

I have 16 years of education. Can you let me know after its advertisement when exams will be conducted ? Does PMS conduct every year ? And lastly, which subjects are high scoring and should be opted ?

Regards.

Thank you but bro I want to know the syllabus of PMS 'compulsory' subjects. I had already gone through the 2nd link. There is no syllabus given there. The 1st link doesn't contain the said syllabus too. Don't you have syllabus of compulsory subjects ?

Regards.
