Default Should I apply through proper channel?
Regards:
Respected senior members and CSP,s ,I want to know that should I apply for PMS through proper channel? As I am already in Government service.If I don't go through proper channel then will it be disadvantageous to me AND if I follow proper channel then what will be advantage?
Looking forward kind,sincere and useful advices.

Its better to through proper channel if you people are employees of federal or provincial government. The benefits which you will get are that your previous service will be counted and if you for any reason want to quit the new job then you can come back to your previous department within one year. Moreover, if you will not apply through proper channel then this might harm you in the interview because I have observed that this is the question which every interviewer asks from in service candidates that you have applied through proper channel if not why.

One more confusion,I got service certificate from my appointing authority 4 months ago.Should I get fresh certificate to produce for PMS or will have to acquire fresh?

DO apply through proper channel, as you ll get the following benefits.
Previous service experience will be counted as continued.
Salary will be more then the fresh one.
All the increments and allowances etc will be shifted to your new service.
You can take lien on the service, through whhich u can come back to ur previous service if u dont like the new one.

You are required to submit No Objection Certificate with your application and specific NOC is issued for each job application. So definitely you will have to get it afresh.

One more thing,NOC is also necessary or only DP is enough.If it is necessary then will it be on specified performa or simply issued by appointing authority?
