Today was my final interview of PMS and my serial number was 8th in written result but when I reached there I got to know that there were two panels and I was the 1st candidate in 2nd panel

Alhamdolilah Interview good ho gya,all I need is your prayers

The panel was composed of four members:

1. Ms. Rukhsana Jabbar Memon (Chairman of the panel)
2. Mr. Shahzad Qaiser
3. Mr. Ashraf Qureshi
4. One other Lady (Do not know about her)

I entered room,
Asslaam o Alaikum

Interview starts:
Chairman of Panel asked:

1. Whats is your name?
2. From where you belong?
3. Ok give us your v.brief intro...
4. Give Job description

Then Mr.S.Qaiser asked with smiling face:

1. Tell me your optionals..
2. Ok Punjabi.......Which Baba you like the most
3. Ok baba jee ka koi dohra(shair) he suna do
4. Why you opted Punjabi?
5. Which Essay you attempted?
6. Why Democracy?
7. How you see current democratic situation in Pak?
8. What is the difference between Sociology and Social work(my optional)?

Then Mr.Qureshi asked while smiling:

1. How you see the statement of Nawaz Sharif to SAFTA in today's newspaper regarding share of trade to South Asia?
2. WTO and its facilities to developing countries
3. EU and trade with respect to South Asia
4. Gilgit Baltistan and its status
5. Why provincial status has not been given in constitution?
6. Discussion on Azad Kashmir and GB and Jammu Kashmir

Then Other Madam asked:

1. 20th amendment ?
2. 18th amendment w.r.t Fundamental rights ?
3. Why education is redefined as Fundamental right when it was already in the constitution?
4. What is cloud computing (Q related to IT ,my field)
5. What is Offshore development (Q related to IT ,my field)
6. Name the author of Taranjan(Punjabi book)
7. Meaning of Taranjan(Punjabi book)

Again Chairman madam:

1. Describe the structure of the district management ,Revenue,Police,judiciary
2. Now can you draw it on paper?
3. What's about your Shadi plan?

Ok thank you you can leave now

First of all wish you best of luck for your final selection. It seems that medium of interview was English and also PPSC drifted away from it's conventional"neelam ghar" type interview. What you say?

@ Panel questions:

Interview seems quite opinionic which shows improvement in the PPSC's criteria and evaluation procedure. I hope it is heading towards a more professional organization and the MCQ type of interviews which used to be conducted previously will be discouraged. Shikva can tell us better as what sort of environment it was, what was the total timing of his interview and what should be the level of preparation as far as current affairs, g.k and optionals are concerned. I hope he got my reservations and questions as he has been through entire process of CSS via FPSC.

May you get through with flying colours. My prayers are with you to join provincial bureaucracy. I hope they will evaluate you accordingly with an even honest and professional approach discarding previous practices of PPSC.

Don't know, How true it is? However i have heard a lot of stories about integrity and honesty of the current chairman of PPSC. Is it true or simply another word of mouth.

The mode of interview was mix (English,Punjabi ,Urdu)

Chairman Communicated both in English and Urdu

Mr Shehzad Qaiser Communicated both in English and Punjabi


Mr.Qureshi Communicated only in English

The other lady communicated only in Urdu

I will answer on the behalf of Abdus Saboor as my interview is tomorrow but i was there the whole day and i interviewed many candidates myself ....
including Mr Shikva's interview, brother Chairman (Mr safdar Javaid) is taking opinion based interviews while Madam Rukhsana is more concentrating on GK, optional subjects, and your degree...Madam sahiba is screwing the guys...
His interview lasted for 15-20 minutes, environment was good and friendly as all the ladies called him beta ye, beta wo, beta shadi kb krwao gy...
as i already said that both panels are focusing on different things...


sir kuch duaen humaray liye b kr den na, ye to burri baat hy...

dear how can we be sure about that at this stage or even afterwards? he did not ask for any bribes to get us selected...

He has already mentioned that Mr. Safdar's panel is taking opinionic interviews. However I didn't find Shikva's Interview less opinionic either.

Sir Allah Apko kamyab karega inshallah. He never keeps the reward of Hardwork with Him (Quran says). Believe in it and just do your best, if He has made it source of your RIZQ then these panels can merely pass some time with you but they can in no way reject you.

Around 20 mins duration of interview

Yes opionic interview ho rhy hain not Neelam gher so far
But every aspirant is having new experience

GK bs utna he bot ha jitna paper k lye tyaar kiya thaa
Panel with time sharp and mushkil hota jaye ga w.r.o questions they ask
But they were very friendly I enjoyed my interview

There were 2 committees one was presided by Mrs Rukhsana Jabbar and other one by the CHairman..EAch committee constits of 4 members

I was interviewed by the committee headed by Chairman Safdar Javed Syed
one of the member of panel was Mr. Abdul Rauf dont know the name of second member PPSc and a lady (may be a representative of deptt(S&GAD)

Questions from Mr safdar JAved were introductory and related to personal life
Then he referred to the lady (sitting on the left of the CHairman), She asked about total no of deptt aims etc(in eng)
thereafter Member whose name i dont know (right side of the chairman) put questions relating to law (in urdu)
Then MR. Abdul RAuf (right side of chairman) he asked me questions related to pol sc
lastly, again MR SAfdar javed gave prositional questions and asked my opinion (in eng)..!!

My humble suggestion to the interviewee to enable themselves for giving their own opinion , prepare your subject in which u have professional degree ..and be confident..!!
