Default Suggest me good subject combinition

PMS Qualifiers and serious PMS aspirants are invited to suggest me best subject combination. I have done masters in Urdu but I don't want to opt Urdu as an optional.

1. Geography
2. Public Administration/Psychology
3. Arabic/Punjabi

I have no background of any subjects mentioned above. I have heard that background is required for public administration. Is it true? or anyone can opt it?
what about psychology?

I want high scoring subjects. I saw social work and mass.com remained low scoring this year. What about Punjabi and Arabic? Can we opt both at the same time or one language?

So suggest me good subject and books for these subjects.

Thanks,

The very first thing is that Arabic and Punjabi can't be opted together.
Secondly , yes the background of a subject does mattear a lot. For example those who had Mass Com background , despite this subjec's passing through bad times , those aspirants secured envious scores. As well as Psychology and Public Admin are concerned , If one has no background of either of them , Public Admin would be easier to handle as compared to Psychology.
Thirdly both Punajbi and Arabic have been very high scoring subjects in Pms 2011-12. Same has been the case with Public Admin. And geography has also not been bad. But, one can't predict about the trend of the coming exam. However , seeing your shortlistimg of the subjects and keeping in view the trend of the previous PMS , I would suggest you to have the following combination.

Public Admin
Geography
Arabic/ Punjabi.

I could get 134 in Punjabi in PMS 2011-12. The book which covers all the syllabus in a very befitting manner is the book og Punjabi by Jahangeer Publishers by Qamar Hussain Qadri.
For Public Admin the book by Sultan Khan is mostly recommended. I have no idea about Psychology or Geography.
Compulsory Subjects :
For Islamyat : Islami Nazaria Hayat by Prof Khursheed
Pak Affairs : Trek to Pakistan by Ahamd Saeed.
Urdu : By Carvan Publishers.
For English : exploring the world of English by Ilmi Punlishers.
For G. K : newspaper reading plus book of mcqs by Ahmad Najeeb , Carvan Publishers.
Reagarding the question how to start the prep the following post would be helpful.

Punjabi and Mass Communication seem to be a good choice considering their scoring trend in last year PMS exam.
